Hi, I'm Jim Strickland and I have been selling custom athletic uniforms since 1986. I realized my lifelong dream to run my own retail sporting goods store the day after Thanksgiving and began serving my neighbors in my small bedroom community just outside Austin, TX near the beautiful Texas Hill Country Most of my business came from the youth of the area coming in with their Moms and Dads to purchase equipment for the various youth leagues as each was in season. My favorite part of the job was fitting a first baseball glove or first pair of soccer cleats.
Not long after I opened I was contracted to provide uniforms for Little League baseball, girl's softball, the basketball league and soccer league. For the past 35 years I have designed and produced thousands of custom uniforms with each particular customer in mind.
In 1992 I closed the brick and mortar store part of my business and went out on the road soliciting my uniform business by establishing personal relationships with teams and leagues. I have now embraced e-commerce to serve a wider audience for custom uniforms.
As I expanded my business I would get requests from my customers and friends for clothing, outerwear and caps on which they could place their business logo. The opportunity to help grow the brand awareness of a business with Corporate Apparel which is fashionable and functional apparel is exciting and a lot of fun.
